Your heat and UVB bulbs are only as good as the fixture holding them. The Arcadia Ceramic Reflector Clamp Lamp is built to handle the demands of reptile lighting — heat-resistant ceramic fitting, polished aluminum reflector dome, and a heavy-duty clamp that actually stays put. This is the fixture you buy once and don't think about again.
What it is
A professional-grade clamp lamp with a ceramic bulb fitting, polished aluminum reflector dome, and heavy-duty adjustable clamp. The ceramic fitting is essential for use with high-wattage basking bulbs, ceramic heat emitters, and Deep Heat Projectors — plastic fittings can melt or fail under sustained heat load.
What it's used for
- Mounting basking bulbs, ceramic heat emitters, halogen heaters, and Deep Heat Projectors
- Directing and focusing heat output with the polished reflector dome
- Providing a safe, stable fixture for high-wattage heat sources
- Use with enclosures of all sizes — the clamp attaches to mesh tops, stands, or enclosure frames
May be appropriate for
- Any reptile keeper using basking bulbs, CHEs, halogens, or DHPs
- Enclosures with mesh or screen tops where a clamp fixture is needed
- Keepers upgrading from low-quality plastic fixtures that have failed or melted

Husbandry notes
Always ensure the fixture wattage rating matches or exceeds the bulb you're using. Position the fixture so the bulb cannot be contacted by the animal — burns from direct bulb contact are a common and preventable injury. The polished dome significantly improves heat and light directionality compared to unlined fixtures, which means you may be able to use a lower wattage bulb to achieve the same basking temperature.
Don't cheap out on fixtures. A failed plastic fitting under a 150W basking bulb is a fire risk. Ceramic fittings are non-negotiable for high-wattage applications.
