Know what's happening in your enclosure — even at 2 AM. Reptiles are often most active at night, during feeding, or when you're not in the room. The HomiQ Life 3MP 2K Pet Camera is built for close-range monitoring of terrariums, aquariums, and window setups, giving you crystal-clear visibility day or night without disturbing your animals.

What it is

A 3 megapixel, 2K resolution pet camera with close-focus Ultra-HD optics, color night vision, and smart motion detection. Designed specifically for aquariums, terrariums, and small habitat monitoring where standard security cameras fall short on close-range detail.

What it's used for

  • Monitoring reptile activity, feeding behavior, and enclosure conditions remotely
  • Checking on nocturnal species without disturbing them with light
  • Receiving smart alerts when motion is detected in the enclosure
  • Observing shy or reclusive animals that rarely show themselves during the day
  • Keeping an eye on eggs, hatchlings, or animals in quarantine

May be appropriate for

  • Nocturnal species like leopard geckos, crested geckos, and ball pythons
  • Any reptile keeper who wants remote visibility into their enclosures
  • Breeders monitoring clutches, hatchlings, or breeding behavior
  • Aquarium and window bird feeder monitoring as well

Specs

  • Resolution: 3MP / 2K Ultra-HD
  • Night vision: Color night vision — visible detail even in complete darkness
  • Smart motion detection with alerts
  • Close-focus optics designed for small habitat monitoring
  • Compatible with aquariums, terrariums, and window setups

Husbandry notes

Position the camera outside the enclosure glass for the cleanest image and to avoid humidity damage. Color night vision works without additional infrared light, so you won't need to add a separate IR source. Use motion alerts to track feeding activity or detect unusual behavior that might indicate stress or health issues.

A camera doesn't replace hands-on observation, but it's a genuinely useful tool for keepers who want more visibility into what their animals are doing between checks.
